[1669].  Self-wraps., in original black slipcases, gilt lettering on front covers & spines.  Covers & edges of volumes slightly rubbed, else generally Good in slightly rubbed slipcases, else generally Good.  The Platina volume is considered to be the first printed cookbook, and was translated from Renaissance Latin into "readable" English by Elizabeth Buermann Andrews, and includes an index at the front.
