Black and white image measuring 5" x 9", mounting measuring 10" x 14". Some tears to margins, somewhat rubbed, with some wrinkles, else both the image and title generally Fair+++. This vue d'Optique shows the Pont du pierre (Bordeaux) or Stone Bridge, constructed from 1819 - 1822, with its seventeen arches (number of letters in the name Napoléon Bonaparte). To be viewed on a Zograscope, a popular parlor amusement in the late 19th century. Ready to be framed and priced accordingly.
